Chail a small town, in the foothills of the Himalayas is one of the most picturesque hill stations of India. Chail is approximately 45 kilometres away from Shimla. Thethick forests of deodar and Chir Pine surround the area which makes it one of the favourite tourist destinations of India.The town was discovered by Bhupinder Singh, Maharaja of Patiala as the summer capital of Himachal Pradesh. The weather here is quite pleasant during summer, but freezing cold in winter. The languages used by people over here are Hindi, Punjabi, Pahadi, and English.

How to Reach Chail

Jubbarhatti airport is approximately 45 kilometres away from Chail. It is the nearest one than the Chandigarh airport which is 120 kilometres away. The nearest railway station is Kandaghat located at the Kalka- Shimla heritage. The other nearby stations are in and around Chandigarh. One can easily avail taxi service from Kandaghat to reach Chail. The town is well connected by roads, and even daily bus services are available. The journey to Chail may take long hours to reach, but it is highly flexible
