District Kinnaur– The ever desired and forever awaited destination in the lap of Himalayas is full of new experiences, adventure and real fun. At the height of 6050 mtrs Kinnaur also known as lands of God is always ready with new episodes and new happenings.

 

Best Time To Visit– March to May is best time to visit if you want to enjoy melting snow and apple orchards. Although March- May and October- November is considered good time to Visit Kinnaur.

 

Places To See:

 

1.Sangla –  Sangla valley is one of most beautiful valley in Himachal on the River Baspa. Bering Nag Temple which is known for its architecture, the Kamru Fort perfect place for a glimpse into the artistic legacy of past – now known as Temple of Hindu Goddess Khamakhya, at Batseri village famous for it’s handicrafts.

Also Sangla Buddhist monastery also known as Brelengi Gompa is one of major attraction at Sangla. Chilling at side of Baspa River and enjoying it’s view is going to last in your memory forever.

 

2.Chitkul– The last Indian village Chitkul is itself a very beautiful place to see. Green lush Mountains, Apricot and Apple Orchards in summer and white blanket covered Snow Mountains in winters of Chitkul are not less than heaven. Chitkul is ever famous for it’s breath taking views must  always be there on your list for Kinnaur.

 

3.Kalpa– This small town at Kinnaur is another word for heaven. Kalpa suicide point has always been attracting tourist all over. Roghi Village, Suicide Point, Hu-Bu-lan-Kar monastery, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Narayan-Nagini Temple are some amazing destination with new experiences. Trekking to chakka could boost your adrenaline to another level.

 

 

Kinner Kailash: Kinner Kailash is one of five Kailash in India which are considered very sacred. There are several mythologies behind Kinner Kailash, one of them is meeting of Godess Parvati and lord Shiv. Also this is considered as meeting point between God and Godess. Parvati Kund is a natural pond considered to be creation of Godess Parvati.
